Compiled by the late Glenn Worth, this publication is well researched and written. It runs through Whitefield’s thirty four pubs from the Albert Inn  to The Welcome. Sadly many of the hostelries of Whitefield have gone in recent years. Glenn Worth evokes the feel of Whitefield pubs in their heyday.

Some of Ken Greenhalgh’s captivating drawings of pub life (“The Snug” etc) are included.
