A selection of the historic Heraldry of Prestwich and Whitefield.

Prestwich and Whitefield Heritage Society maintain a museum in the upper floor of Prestwich Library in conjunction with Bury Museum ansd Art Galleries.

The Archaeological section of the Society has undertaken many digs in the area. They have dug behind the Church Inn, geophysed and dug on Church Bank, on a bleaching croft in the Clough and at Stand Old Hall.
